Holiday Parks in Sussex

Sussex is split into two, East Sussex and West Sussex, great counties to visit with long stretches of coastline and tome vibrant places that are great to visit, we really love Eastbourne which is one of our favourite tourist destinations and Brighton is just so unique and full of life. Ideal for holiday, easy to reach with a great transport network across both East and West Sussex, there are also lots of holiday parks in East and West Sussex. These range from some of the biggest like Butlins plus some great large caravan and lodge parks on the coast with everything from indoor and outdoor pools to your own golf course. There are lots of countryside caravan parks in Sussex, beachside touring parks for touring caravans and motorhomes and some fantastic glamping sites.

East Sussex is great, you can get a fantastic beach based holiday park in a quiet area and yet be moments from the fun and eclectic mix that Eastbourne and Brighton have to offer. Both great places to visit, we really think that Eastbourne is one of the best tourist towns in the country, it has so much going on for tourists and offers something for everyone, no matter what age you are.  From Winchelsea, Camber Sands (the best beach on the coast) and Rye, through to Hastings and Newhaven, the coast here is great with some cracking holiday parks to enjoy.

West Sussex in parts is more rural, enjoy the South Downs National Park if you love the countryside, there are some great walks. The coastline in West Sussex has some beautiful towns and villages to visit from Shoreham-by-Sea, through Worthing, Littlehampton, Bognor Regis and East Wittering, great places to visit and ideal for family holidays. If you want culture, Chichester is the place to visit and also has great shopping with a lot of independent shops in pretty streets and is a bit of a foodie heaven.

Tourists have been coming to Sussex since Victorian times, think Sanditon and you have the base of the novel. The Victorian hotels and guest houses remain and now there are a large number of fantastic holiday parks in East and West Sussex. These range from some of the largest holiday parks in the country, to pretty little caravan parks that have been in the same family for generations. The majority of the caravan and lodge parks in Sussex are along the coastline, Camber Sands is our pick if you really want a pure beach holiday. There are numerous campsites and touring parks along the Sussex coast and near the beaches and a selection of touring parks and camping sites in the Sussex countryside where you can really get away from it all and relax in peace.
