Holidays in Bude, Caravan Sites, Lodge & Touring Parks

Bude sits on the north Cornish coast and is a popular holiday destination with a range of campsites, caravan parks, holiday parks and lodge parks in the Bude area. One of our favourite locations for caravan sites in Cornwall, the beaches around here are fantastic and if you have never been before, the Bude sea pool is really good fun! If you are coming on holiday to Bude then there is no shortage of holiday accommodation in Bude to choose from. Some great parks are dotted along the coastline and inland and some have spectacular sea views.

The beaches are the main attraction in the area with Sandymouth one of our favourites as it is well managed by the National Trust and retains a lot of charm. Summerleaze is really popular and easy to access from the town as is Crooklets, both are great for surfing and ideal if you love a dip in the sea. There are plenty of surf schools in the area so if you haven’t mastered the ironically really difficult but totally enjoyable sport of surfing, we advise getting some lessons. Inland, there are lots of places to visit, Tamar Lakes is one of our favourite walks and the town is great, good pubs and restaurants with a decent night life and the must visit attraction, the pasty shop, they really do fantastic Cornish pasties.

There are holiday parks galore here, from eco camping to fantastic touring parks and glamping by the beach, the selection on offer is really big. Wild camping or large caravan parks with swimming pools and entertainment, Bude has a great selection to choose from. There are traditional family run campsites and parks that really give you a warm welcome and you are never too far from a fantastic place to grab some food. The one thing that really stands out about the holiday parks in the Bude area is that they are never really on top of each other, there is always a lot of space to enjoy around the parks and that makes it one of our favourite destinations!
