Holiday Parks in Hunstanton

Hunstanton sits north of King’s Lynn on the Norfolk coast above Snettisham and Heacham with Burnham Market and Blakeney to the west. Hunstanton has been a popular beach resort in Norfolk since the Victorian times and today is home to several large holiday parks plus smaller independent touring caravan parks and campsites in the nearby area.

Like most of the resorts on the Norfolk coast, the beach is the main attraction although the main Hunstanton town beach beach is a shingle beach with pink and white cliffs. Tourists generally prefer the beach at Old Hunstanton which has fine golden sand and plenty of space as the tide goes out. This beach is great, perfect sand, ideal for families but it does get busy during the summer holidays but there is plenty of space here even when it does get busy.

Hunstanton is a pretty town and geared up to tourists with a lot of great things to do apart from the beach. There is a pretty boating lake behind the beach and Rainbow Park is great with the Sea Life Sanctuary nearby. There are amusements, adventure golf, a great theatre with regular shows and performances or just take a stroll down the Esplanade Gardens.

With all of this going it, it is no great shock that there are some fantastic holiday parks in Hunstanton offering everything you would like from flumes to golf, indoor and outdoor pools, daytime and nighttime entertainment, the list goes on. There are some smaller and more peaceful holiday parks in Hunstanton and several parks for touring caravan and with luxury lodges. The area around Hunstanton also has several campsites and parks suitable for motorhomes, from countryside parks in peaceful Norfolk to coastal caravan and camping parks with sea views.
