Approximately a thirty-minute drive from Haggerston Castle Holiday Park is Alnwick Castle, this famous castle featured in the Harry Potter movies and the television series Downton Abbey. Alnwick Castle has over 950 years of history to discover and is an amazing castle to come and visit. There are tours, talks and trails you can take part in which are included as part of your entry fee. Children will love the famous Broomstick Training sessions that take place within the grounds, this takes place where Harry Potter had his first flying lesson in the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
