At Ruda Holiday Park, you can choose from a variety of caravan options. Caravans are available in 2, 3, or 4 bedrooms. All of the caravans come with a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker and microwave. There is also a kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. There are a selection of pet friendly and extra wide caravans available at Ruda Holiday Park. The lodges offer a more luxurious accommodation option. Located in Croyde Burrows, they are equipped with a veranda, private hot tub and a parking space.

Camping and glamping options are also available at Ruda. The Safari Tents feature beds, a kitchen, furniture and an outdoor deck, great for families or couples who want something a little bit different. The Safari+ tents offer more luxurious additions such as pre-made beds, and outdoor furniture.

Park Facilities at Ruda Holiday Park

Cascades Tropical Adventure Pool is located on Ruda Holiday Park, there are many water activities to enjoy including the 230ft waterslide and the lazy river. The smaller toddler pool has a variety of smaller slides for younger children to enjoy. The holiday park also features playing fields, tennis courts, and a nature trail. During the summer months, beach volleyball becomes a popular activity.

If you would like to learn to surf, there are many surf schools in Croyde. You can step off the holiday park grounds and enjoy coastal walks to Baggy point and beyond. There are also plenty of hiking and biking paths to explore from Ruda Holiday Park. The adventure playground and soft play area offer fun for the children and there is also an amusement arcade. The children’s shows include Paw Patrol Mighty Missions and the Fix it with Sparky Krew Show at the entertainment venue.

Ruda Holiday Park offers a wide choice of dining options, from quick bites at the Fish & Chip shop or Thunderbird takeaway to evening meals at The Boathouse restaurant or Pizza Box for an Italian classic. The ice-cream parlour and beach café provide the perfect dessert.

Places to Visit Near Ruda Holiday Park

There are several stunning beaches along the North Devon Coast line, including Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Woolacome Bay and Putsborough Beach. Croyde Bay is known as a surfer's paradise, there are also many rock pools to enjoy and explore. Lifeguards patrol the beach from May to September. Saunton Sands, is a 5 minute drive from Croyde and it offers a long stretch of beach. This beach is perfect for surfing, kite flying, playing in the sand dunes, paddling in the sea and rock pooling.

Woolacombe Bay, is recognised as one of the UK's best beaches, Woolacombe Bay features over 3 miles of golden sand and is situated in a beautiful setting. Great for surfing, bathing, rock pooling and all other beach activities, a great day out for the whole family. Putsborough Beach also a 5 minute drive from Croyde is more tranquil, with golden sands, it is great for sunbathing and rock pooling.

Ilfracombe Aquarium offers interactive and educational experiences for all ages. Ilfracombe Aquarium reveals the diverse marine life of North Devon's waters. Approximately a 20 minute drive from Croyde you will find Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.  Set in over 28 acres you can visit all of the animals on the park. There is a Sea Lion show, you can feed the wolves and there are many more fun interactive dinosaur activities to explore.
