There is a beautiful newly refurbished indoor pool to enjoy plus a bar with entertainment and three coarse fishing lakes if you want a day relaxing by a wonderful lake fishing. One of the largest holiday parks in Bodmin, really well spaced out and lots of woodland to explore with Bodmin Moor on your doorstep and a short drive to some great beaches.
The park is really very relaxed and tucked away in the countryside, based around the impressive old manor house. You can have a game of pitch and put or tennis and even in the middle of summer, it doesn't feel crowded or have the feeling that other people are on top of you. The chalets are swiss style and very pretty, well set out and the lodges by the fishing lakes are really nice and peaceful. Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow are all within easy reach, the park is set in the countryside so you will have to drive but it is really a relaxing park, away from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist parks.
Lodges, Chalets & Caravans at Hengar Manor Holiday Park
The park has a selection of modern caravans that can sleep up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms (1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms and a pull out sofa bed). Each caravan has a fully equipped kitchen, TV in the lounge, central heating, duvets, pillows and bed linen is provided. The park does offer some pet friendly caravans and caravans that have a lakeside view, ideal if you are looking for Cornwall caravan parks with fishing.
Hengar Manor Park also offers Bungalow, Lodges and Villa’s. The Bungalow’s sleep 4 people in 2 bedrooms, duvets, pillows and bed linen are also provided. There is a fully equipped kitchen, patio area and bathroom. Some of the bungalows are pet friendly. The Villa’s can sleep up to 10 people in 4 bedrooms. The larger villa’s are ideal for families as the accommodation is split over 2 floors. There is a fully equipped kitchen, TV in the lounge and bed linen including duvets and pillows are provided. There are some pet friendly Villa’s available so you can bring your dog on holiday with you
Park Facilities at Hengar Manor Holiday Park
On-site activities, include a newly refurbished indoor swimming pool, clubhouse with a restaurant and bar, entertainment with regular live acts, including singing, dancing, and bingo. All of the facilities are in the same area around the club house plus there are tennis courts next door and a 9 hole pitch and putt course in the grounds to the front of the manor house. This is a peaceful park set in a woodland area so it is not noisy, even in the middle of summer and is very pretty. The club house is modern and there is also a small amusement arcade near to the reception area.
There are three coarse fishing lakes and an onsite shop stocking all the fishing essentials. Anyone 12 years and over must hold a valid Environment Agency fishing license. The restaurant and bar offers guests a variety of cuisine, from hearty traditional meals, light bites, or tasty desserts, the restaurant's menu has something for everyone.

Bodmin Moor is a short drive away and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is an abundance hiking trails where avid hikers can enjoy the outstanding scenery of the moor. Port Isaac is also just a short drive away, a charming fishing village and most known as the location where the TV series 'Doc Martin' is filmed. Padstow is known for its delicious seafood with many renowned restaurants and cafes, it is the perfect place to sample Cornwall's culinary delights. The Camel Trail offers a scenic route for walking and cycling, following the beautiful Camel Estuary.
Nearby attractions include, The Eden project, home to the largest indoor rainforest that consists of many giant domes known as biomes.
